Why we're embedding AI into everything we ship
AI is not a feature we bolt on. It is a design constraint we start with. Here is what that looks like in practice across our products and client work.
Every product brief that comes through our doors gets the same question early in discovery: where does AI create real value here? Not as a checkbox, not as a marketing angle, but as a genuine design decision that changes what the product can do.
Our view is that we're at a transitional moment where the products that will win over the next five years are being designed right now, and the ones that treat AI as a bolt-on will feel dated almost immediately. We'd rather help clients get this right from the start.
In practice, this shows up in a few ways. For MITPO, AI is the core product. The platform exists to let businesses build and run AI workflows without needing engineers for every step. For Word Sus, AI helps moderate content and powers dynamic difficulty adjustment. For client work, we've been using AI to dramatically compress the time between brief and tested prototype.
The risks we talk about with clients are real: accuracy, hallucination, data handling, and the uncomfortable reality that AI-driven features can behave differently across user cohorts. We build in evaluation loops and human oversight into everything we ship.
We're not evangelists. We're pragmatists. AI makes some things genuinely better; it makes other things complicated for limited gain. Knowing the difference is where the real work is.
